The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the MOST IMPORTANT application to complete for almost all types of financial aid. Many state, local, and private entities use the FAFSA to determine eligibility for grants and scholarships, all with different deadlines. It is available starting October 1 for the upcoming award year. Complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1. Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to transfer student and parent tax information to the FAFSA.

The SAMHS Scholarship Book will continue to be updated as new scholarships come in.
If a scholarship is to be returned to the Guidance Office, please electronically submit it along with any supporting documention to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org by the scholarship application deadline. If supporting documentation is needed by SAMHS to complete the scholarship application, please include the details in your email. If you cannot scan and email the completed application to the above email addresses, please call the school at 968-3720 to make arrangements to drop off hard copies of the scholarships.
If a transcript is needed during the school closure, please email your request for a transcript to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure you include the address the transcript is to be mailed to. A parent or legal guardian MUST send the email request if a student is not 18 or older. Transcript requests should be put in at least a week in advance.
During the school year the Guidance Office receives many scholarship applications. Below is the link to the SAMHS Scholarship Book.
