• US Census Looking for Workers

    The U.S. Census Bureau Philadelphia/Cranberry Office is recruiting citizens to work the 2020 Census.

    Census positions are part-time, work from home, flexible hours and pay between $13-$16/hour plus federal mileage reimbursement. These jobs would be great for graduating seniors who are 18 years old, as well as for the teaching staff, paraprofessionals, and substitute teachers.

  • Lockdown Drills scheduled for WCSD Schools

    The district has scheduled lockdown drills at district schools on the following dates:

    • April 2, 2019:  Warren Area Elementary Center (PM)
    • April 3, 2019:  Sheffield Area Elementary School/Sheffield Area Middle High School (PM)
    • April 4, 2019:  Warren Area High School (AM), Beaty Warren Middle School (PM)
    • April 5, 2019:  Youngsville Elementary Middle School (PM)
    • April 10, 2019:  Warren County Career Center (AM/PM)
    • April 12, 2019:  Eisenhower Elementary School/Eisenhower Middle High School (PM)
    • April 16, 2019:  WCSD Central Office (former Russell Elementary School)(AM)/Youngsville High School (PM)
    • April 17, 2019:  Anderson Building (AM)
    • April 18, 2019:  Sugar Grove Operations Center (former Sugar Grove Elementary School) (PM)


    The drills are designed to ensure that students, faculty, and staff are prepared to follow Standard Response Protocol (SRP) and ALICE training in the event of an emergency. Again, these are only drills.
