    DISCOVERY CREW (K-2) / STEM SQUAD (3-5) - SUMMER

    Students in Discovery Crew receive academic enrichment, and free, nutritious breakfast and lunch. Fun indoor and outdoor physical activities are built into the program to promote health and activity. They also have the opportunity to work with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) kits to help build critical thinking skills and encourage creativity. Open to students in grades K-2, the program will operate from the Beaty-Warren Middle School location. Program dates are July 11, 2022 - August 5, 2022.

    The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Grant cohort that funded Team STEAM expired at the end of December 2021. The district has applied for another cohort of 21st Century Grant funding and will soon learn if that application will be approved. If approved, the replacement program for Team STEAM is expected to begin early in the 2022-23 school year.
