** UPDATED WITH CLINIC SITE & DATE ** Warren General Hospital Student Vaccination Clinic Information
Warren General Hospital (WGH) has received doses of the Pfizer vaccine and has reached out to the Warren County School District for help in organizing a vaccination clinic for interested families of students ages 16 years or older. The clinic is set for May 11, 2021, at Warren Area High School, and will be similar to the Moderna vaccine clinic that was previously organized by WGH for WCSD employees.
The District will provide transportation for students to get to WAHS and back from EMHS / SAMHS / YMHS.
It is important to note that this is NOT a mandate from the district for students to be vaccinated; the WCSD is merely helping distribute information about the clinic to eligible students and their families.
The first page of a letter to parents regarding the vaccination clinic may be seen below. Please click on the link for the full letter, which includes a consent form and an extensive fact sheet on the Pfizer vaccine.
