Graduation Requirements

All students in the Warren County School District MUST have the following credits in order to graduate

CLASS of 2026 - Need a minimum of 27 Credits

  • English--4.0

  • History--4.0

  • Math--3.0 -OR- 4.0

    • Algebra I/Algebra II -OR-

      Algebra IA/Algebra IB

    • Geometry

    • Personal Finance -OR- Pre-Calculus -OR- Statistics *IF needing 4 credits of Math

  • Science--3.0 -OR- 4.0

    • Environmental Science/Biology/Chemistry

    • Physical Science -OR- Physics *IF needing 4 credits of Science

  • Physical Education--1.0

  • Health--.5

  • Computer/Stem--.5

  • College and Career Readiness--1.0

  • Elective Credits--9.0

CLASS of 2027 - Need minimum of 28 Credits

  • English--4.0

  • History--4.0

  • Math--3.0

    • Algebra I/Algebra II -OR-

      Algebra IA/Algebra IB

    • Geometry

  • Science--3.0

    • Environmental Science/Biology

    • Chemistry CP -OR- Physical Science

  • Physical Education--1.0

  • Health--.5

  • Computer/Stem--.5

  • College and Career Readiness--1.0

  • Personal Finance--1.0

  • Elective Credits--10.0

CLASS of 2028 and Beyond - Need a minimum of 29 Credits

  • English--4.0

  • History--4.0

  • Math--3.0

    • Algebra I/Algebra II -OR-

      Algebra IA/Algebra IB

    • Geometry

  • Science--3.0

    • Environmental Science/Biology

    • Chemistry CP -OR- Physical Science

  • Physical Education--1.0

  • Health--.5

  • Computer/Stem--.5

  • College and Career Readiness--1.0

  • Personal Finance--1.0

  • Elective Credits--11.0

Additionally, all students must meet ONE of the five Graduation Pathways designated by the Pennsylvania Department of Education

  • Keystone Pathway--scoring proficient on all Keystone Exams (Algebra, Biology and Literature)

  • Keystone Proficiency Pathway--scoring proficient on one of the three exams & basic on the other two with a combined score of at least 4452

  • Alternate Assessment--passing a recognized other assessment (ASVAB's, SAT's, PSAT's, etc...)

  • CTE--attending the WCCC and achieving industry certification upon graduation

  • Portfolio Pathway--assembling a range of performance criteria into a portfolio
