Student Application and Enrollment Procedures

The Warren County Career Center has an open admissions policy for students who wish to enroll in one of the WCCC Programs. The open admissions policy applies to students entering the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade year of high school.

Students who apply for programs with no waiting list will automatically be accepted into their program of choice, upon completion of the requisite credits.

Students must complete 6 (six) credits as a sophomore and 12 (twelve) credits as a junior, depending upon program choice, prior to applying for admission to the Warren County Career Center.

Students applying to programs which have more applicants than openings will be offered the opportunity to apply for admittance to their second or third choice.

If the student declines admittance to second or third choice, the student will be subject to further evaluation by an admissions committee comprised of administrators, guidance personnel, and the program instructor. Applicants will be rated on a 5-point scale in each of the following areas: Attendance (25%), Grade Point Average (25%), Discipline Incidents (25%), and Teacher/Counselor recommendations (25%). Students not immediately offered admission after committee evaluation will be placed on a rank-order waiting list. Should an accepted student in one of the competitive programs decline an offer of admission, the next highest-ranking student on the program’s waiting list will be offered admission.

Any student who resides within the Warren County School District has equal access to career/technical programs without regard to race, color, creed, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, national origin, or disability.

Any student applying for admission to the Warren County Career Center must complete a Student Application.
