Multimedia Marketing is for students who enjoy working with people, watching fashion and sports trends, working at a part-time job, or are interested in starting their own businesses. Whether the student will be going to college or entering the job market after high school, Multimedia Marketing Design education will develop skills to lead the student on the road to success.

Marketing Technology consists of six related components:

1. Small Business Entrepreneurship

2. International/Cyber Marketing

3. Principles of Leadership

4. Multimedia and Web Design

5. Sales Management

6. Sports/Entertainment and Recreation Marketing

• These classes prepare students for selling, buying, pricing, advertising, and owning their own businesses. The students also learn employability skills and self-employment through the REAL (Rural Entrepreneurship through Action Learning) curriculum. In addition, the class covers technical knowledge of products and services marketed, related communication and math skills, and attitudes associated with human relations.

• Professional attitudes will be developed through the Skills USA national organization.

In the WCCC Marketing program, you will have hands-on on projects like designing your own business, the WCCC Facebook page, and the school store!
Come explore international marketing too!  Did you know McDonald's is in over 100 countries?   You'll learn all about the marketing strategies and variety of menu items McDonald's offers all around the world.
Compete in the marketing club, DECA!  Every year our students have advanced to the state competition in Hershey!  State Competitors go to Hershey for 3 school days.  In addition to the competition there are a lot of fun activities like dances and visiting Hershey Chocolate World.  WCCC DECA students have advanced to the International DECA Competition in both Atlanta, Georgia and Orlando, Florida visiting Disney, the College Football Hall of Fame, and Coca Cola World!  They also have an opportunity to earn scholarships through DECA.
Marketing has a wide variety of careers including social media specialist, web designer, business owner, sales management, and so much more!  And you may also earn college credit.
