The Warren County School District (WCSD) announces that all of its schools will be participating in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for the 2022-23 school year. Under CEP, all students enrolled in the district will receive a free breakfast and lunch through the School Nutrition Program (SNP).

The district’s election to participate in CEP means that household income applications are no longer required to determine eligibility for free or reduced-price meals at schools.
CEP does not apply to à la carte foods so an extra entrée, snacks, or an extra milk must be purchased. Students who pack their lunches, however, may choose to participate in the district’s new “Pack and Carry” option, where they may choose fresh fruits, vegetables, and a milk at no cost to enjoy with their packed meal.

The full list of WCSD CEP participating schools is Beaty Warren Middle School, Eisenhower Elementary School, Eisenhower Middle High School, Warren Area Elementary Center, Warren Area High School, Youngsville Elementary School, Youngsville Middle High School, Sheffield Area Elementary School, and Sheffield Area Middle High School.

Questions regarding CEP in the Warren County School District should be directed to the WCSD Food Service Office at (814)723-6900 at extensions 1602 or 1603.
