In May, WCSD third grade students will participate in a MWEE (Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience) as part of the newly adopted STEELS Science Standards. Students will explore and test local watersheds, investigate effects of local watersheds on the Ohio River Watershed, engage in weather activities, learn about the state amphibian, and collaborate on ways to best reduce negative human impacts on watersheds.
