On November 3rd, a group of students attended the Women in Engineering Day at Penn State Behrend. The students participated in various hands-on sessions led by women who work in the engineering field. The students also listened to Keynote speaker Julia Cecchetti, a propulsion development engineer from SpaceX. The program has been running for 17 years and is designed to introduce high school students to careers available in different engineering fields.

On November 2, 14 WAHS and SAMHS students completed in the 37th annual Benjamin Freed Mathematics Competition. Warren took 4th place in the AAA Teams Competition! Aidan Zdarko had the top score for the team.

Attention 11th and 12th Grade Students!
Enrollment in Spring Semester 2024 is just around the corner for all the dual enrollment colleges and universities that have partnered with the Warren County School District. The WCSD wants to remind students and parents that student tuition will be paid through the approved grant that was offered to the district last fall. Please speak with your school counselor on the various options for the spring semester.

WCSD internet and phone system are currently offline due to a tree down on lines provided by our internet service provider. Phone calls cannot be received to the buildings. We do not have an estimated time of when we will be back online at this point.

Winter sports registration will be from October 2 - October 23, 2023.
Any WAHS or SAMHS student that is planning on attending the WAHS Homecoming Dance on 9/30/23 and is bringing an outside guest must complete a Dance Guest Form, available in the main office, and turn in to the office by Friday, 9/22/23. No late forms will be accepted.
Warren Area High School will host an Open House on Wednesday, September 20th, from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. for any parent and family that would like to tour the building and meet with teachers.
Please note the two most common issues guardians are having when accessing Rooms are:
1. Current email address does not match the email in our student information system.
2. You must be listed as a guardian in our student information system. Access does not go out to emergency contacts, only guardians.
If you are a guardain and have not received an email, please contact your child's school to update that information.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania ensures that all children with disabilities ages 3 years through 21 years residing in Pennsylvania have the right to a FAPE, including children with disabilities who have been suspended or expelled from school. The commonwealth shall make FAPE available to a child with a disability eligible under IDEA until the student turns 22. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, a child eligible under IDEA who attains the age of twenty-one (21) years may remain enrolled in their resident district free of charge until their 22nd birthday.
