The Warren County School District (WCSD) acknowledges the value of enriching summer programs for K-5 students, including hands-on STEM activities and creative arts exploration. Unfortunately, state/federal funding for the summer of 2024 is not currently available.
The district is actively exploring alternative funding sources to continue offering summer programming for students in grades K-5 formerly funded by the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21CCLC) grant.
The WCSD understands the disappointment this news may cause and is dedicated to finding creative solutions to help continue the program. However, securing such funding can be challenging, and we cannot guarantee its availability at this time.
The district will provide updates on the status of summer programming as they become available. Parents and guardians are encouraged to regularly visit the News section of the WCSD website at www.wcsdpa.org .
