Parents and Guardians,
Weather conditions are expected to change overnight, and tomorrow morning will be extremely cold. Warren County School District follows the National Weather Service Wind Chill Chart and will be monitoring conditions early in the morning to determine if a delay or closure is necessary.
At this time, forecasts indicate we will be right on the edge of the first wind chill zone—meaning it will be very cold, but not quite within the 30-minute frostbite threshold.
Please ensure your children are dressed appropriately for the weather, especially those waiting at bus stops or walking to school. In addition to warm winter clothing, it is strongly recommended that students wear gloves and a hat.

Over the coming weeks, students will begin the scheduling process for the upcoming school year, starting with class meetings at school.
- Middle school students will have the opportunity to rank their preferred elective courses.
- High school students will complete course request sheets to indicate their course selections.

December has been a wonderful month of celebration, creativity, and giving across our schools. Students have been shining in STEM competitions, earning recognition as Students of the Month, creating Christmas ornaments to showcase Warren County, and showing their school spirit through festive hallway decorations. We’ve also enjoyed meaningful learning experiences like author talks and celebrated athletic success with our teams across the district. December also brought exciting opportunities for learning beyond the classroom, as groups across the district partnered with local industries throughout the county to explore real-world applications of their learning.
In the spirit of the season, our school communities came together to support others through Thanksgiving food drives and generous donations to community partners. These moments reflect the kindness, teamwork, and dedication that make our district so special.
