Ride Right: Safety Inside the Bus - Whatβs the safest way to ride the bus? Sit right, ride right!
Once aboard, students play a big part in keeping the ride safe for everyone.
Remind them to:
β’ Stay in their seat, facing forward
β’ Use quiet voices so the driver can concentrate
β’ Keep backpacks on their lap or under their seat
β’ Avoid shouting or horseplay
The U.S. Department of Transportation reports that school buses are the safest way to get to and from school β letβs keep it that way!
Come out and cheer on our students by attending one of the many fall season events.

π October is Bus Safety Month!
Each week, weβll spotlight an important part of keeping our students safe as they travel nearly 1.8 million miles each year across 792 square miles of Warren County. Safety is always our #1 priority!
π Safety Starts at the Stop - Did you know bus safety begins before students even step on board?
Arriving early and staying alert at the bus stop helps everyone start the day safely!
Here are a few simple reminders for families to review together:
β’ Arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes early
β’ Stand back from the curb while waiting
β’ Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop before approaching
β’ Never push or run at the bus stop
Remind children that the driver needs to see them at all times. With nearly 10,000 miles traveled each school day, every safe stop matters!
