Summer Food Program Header Image

The Warren County School District (WCSD) is once again planning to offer Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) sites to help kids get the nutrition they need when school meals aren't available. The SFSP provides meals without charge, regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, or disability, and is funded through reimbursements from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

The SFSP provides children ages 18 and younger with options for a free breakfast and/or lunch during the summer months. The WCSD is currently planning for sites at locations where it hosts summer programming. It is also interested in hearing from any organization in the area that also offers summer programming for children and is curious about becoming an SFSP partner.

Any organization interested in learning more about being an SFSP partner may contact Matt Jones, WCSD Coordinator of Grant & Foundation Development, at 814-723-6900. Information on local SFPS sites and hours of operation will be posted before the end of school.
