October is Bullying Prevention Month. We recognize that for many adults talking about bullying with children — of any age — can be challenging. It’s incredibly important that we practice and develop this skill, because nearly 60% of children never reveal to a trusted adult that they have been victims of bullying. Our experts help to address this challenge in the article, https://wcsdpa.onlinesafetyhub.io/parent/conversation-starters/online-bullying#!
By starting with age-specific advice, conversation starters and suggested actions, parents can gain a deeper understanding of their child’s experience and learn why children often struggle to communicate about this important topic.

Attention Parent: Just a reminder, Picture Day is today, please send your child with their best smile!

The Youth Wrestling Flyer that was sent home to Youngsville Elementary School students today only applies to the Central Attendance Area students. Sorry for the confusion. Please disregard.
Today we started a SchoolStore program to help our school raise money. An envelope explaining how the program works has been sent home with your student. Parents, please read over the information describing how you can participate. Your student will earn a participation prize when they return the filled-out envelope to school, and they can earn more great prizes.
Also, we have a PTO Meeting scheduled for this Thursday, September 14th at 6:00! We hope to see you there!
Please note the two most common issues guardians are having when accessing Rooms are:
1. Current email address does not match the email in our student information system.
2. You must be listed as a guardian in our student information system. Access does not go out to emergency contacts, only guardians.
If you are a guardain and have not received an email, please contact your child's school to update that information.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania ensures that all children with disabilities ages 3 years through 21 years residing in Pennsylvania have the right to a FAPE, including children with disabilities who have been suspended or expelled from school. The commonwealth shall make FAPE available to a child with a disability eligible under IDEA until the student turns 22. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, a child eligible under IDEA who attains the age of twenty-one (21) years may remain enrolled in their resident district free of charge until their 22nd birthday.
