Attention Parents!
You can tell from the excitement in the air that this weekend is Homecoming Weekend 2025!

As part of the celebration, all of the 7th and 8th grade students from YEMS will be going to Eisenhower to take part in the festivities on Friday, October 10th!

Students will be departing from YEMS right after lunch (12:30) and traveling to Ike via bus. Once there, all of our fall student-athletes will be recognized in front of the student body including junior high basketball, junior high football, cross-country, and varsity soccer, cheer, and football.

The homecoming court and several of our students will be involved in the pep-rally and homecoming fun playing various games and cheers. The assembly will be capped off with a performance by our Eisenhower Marching Band before returning to YEMS shortly after 2:00.

The homecoming football game, Franklin @ Eisenhower, will begin at 7:00 that same night.

🚌 October is Bus Safety Month!

Each week, we’ll spotlight an important part of keeping our students safe as they travel nearly 1.8 million miles each year across 792 square miles of Warren County. Safety is always our #1 priority!

🛑 Safety Starts at the Stop - Did you know bus safety begins before students even step on board?

Arriving early and staying alert at the bus stop helps everyone start the day safely!

Here are a few simple reminders for families to review together:
• Arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes early
• Stand back from the curb while waiting
• Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop before approaching
• Never push or run at the bus stop

Remind children that the driver needs to see them at all times. With nearly 10,000 miles traveled each school day, every safe stop matters!

Attention Parents:

Our therapy dogs are making a difference in our schools — bringing comfort, reducing stress, and creating a more supportive environment for our students and staff alike.

If you'd like to help continue this mission, there are TWO easy ways to show your support!

Join us at the PAWSvember Fest on 11/1 OR shop our online store (https://stores.threesixtygraphics.com/wcsd_paws/shop/home

Unfortunately, the Warren County School District must cancel the Middle Level (Grades 6–8) 21st Century Program this year because of low student enrollment.
We appreciate your understanding.
