Thanks to the generosity of the Koontz family (which now live in Altoona) and the Youngsville Elementary students, staff, and teachers, 20 families in town received a spiral cut ham and all of the fixings that round out a traditional Thanksgiving dinner along with other snacks and breakfast items.

It’s the most musical time of the year!
Our students have been working hard to prepare a wonderful lineup of holiday performances across the district. We invite families, friends, and community members to join us in celebrating the season and supporting our talented musicians.
📅 Please see the image below for the full schedule of concert dates and times.
From our elementary singers to our middle and high school ensembles, each performance highlights the dedication of our students and music educators. We hope to see you there as we ring in the season with joy, tradition, and great music!

One of our Youngsville Elementary Middle School students, Alice Sanford, recently took part in the Keystone Competition, a STEM hackathon where teams worked to solve real-world challenges. After hearing from a keynote speaker, students brainstormed, designed, and built prototype solutions to issues facing schools today.
We are excited to announce that Alice was part of a team that won both the People’s Choice Award and 1st place in the 7th/8th grade division! Her teams' project tackled long cafeteria lines with a creative conveyor-style system to speed up food distribution, and their Shark Tank-style pitch impressed both judges and the audience.
Congratulations to the entire winning team!
