The Warren County School District is conducting a survey to assess the need for computers for home use by District students. Based on the survey results, a laptop may be provided to your student if a need is identified.

Please be advised of the following WCSD Outdoor Recess Guidelines:
Students will attend recess outdoors under the following conditions:
1. The temperature/wind chill are above 25 degrees.
2. The temperature/heat index is less than 90 degrees.
3. There is no precipitation falling: Exception: Light snowfall can be safe and fun for kids.
4. The outdoor recess area is safe.
Please remember to keep these considerations in mind to ensure that students are properly dressed (coats, hats, gloves, etc.), for outdoor recess in accordance with these guidelines. If you are in need of assistance with obtaining proper winter attire for your child/family, please contact the SAES Main Office.

The "Sewing and Crafts" Class offered at SAMHS invites students to craft for both personal wellness and service of others. The course also asks students to think creatively, work collaboratively, make a plan of action, and use time effectively to complete a project. Recently, this SAMHS class teamed up with SAES to create favorite book and movie character pumpkins for the elementary classrooms. Students selected their favorite characters and were surprised with pumpkin deliveries just in time for the upcoming Halloween festivities. This project touched on many areas and objectives of the SAMHS course and also allowed the high school students to have a small part in the elementary students' days. A special thanks go out to various community members and businesses who donated pumpkins for this festive project, and thank you to our SAMHS partners for making our holiday celebration so special!
