Kindergarten students in Mrs. Lindberg's and Mrs. Lindsey's classes recently completed a STEM project during a CKLA pause point for review/recap. Students reviewed "The Three Little Pigs" and created their own houses. Students then experimented with the degree of solidity of their creation when the "wolf" (a hairdryer) arrived to attempt to "blow their house down".🐷

Our first District Enrichment Day on September 18 was a resounding success! Students engaged in logic-based board games, tackled riddles, and cracked codes to unlock the Breakout EDU puzzle. They showcased their knowledge in a quiz bowl featuring challenging questions across science, math, English language arts, and history. Next week, they will be diving into project-based activities focusing on math, history, science, and writing.
Sheffield Area Elementary School will be joining with our Sheffield Area Middle High School neighbors in celebrating an elementary-style version of "Homecoming Spirit Week"! We look forward to being a part of this fun fall tradition beginning on Monday, September 23rd, 2024.
