💦 Water Balloon Math: Cool Off & Learn! Turn summer fun into brain-boosting play! Water Balloon Math mixes movement and math to help kids build fact fluency in an exciting, active way. 💡 Why it works: This game strengthens number recall, coordination, and processing speed—all while keeping kids engaged outdoors. It’s perfect for kinesthetic learners who thrive on hands-on activities. Associating physical activity with problem-solving strengthens memory and keeps learners more engaged than flashcards or worksheets alone. 🎯 Pro Tips: Let kids write the problems on the balloons for extra practice. Use different colors for different operations (blue for addition, red for multiplication). Add a reflection: Which problems were trickiest? How fast did you solve them? Water Balloon Math turns your yard into a learning playground—and proves that summer learning can be just as fun as it is refreshing! A splash of fun + a dash of learning = summer math success!

Come Celebrate Our 5th Graders! We’re sending off our awesome 5th grade students with a Clap-Out on Friday, June 6th, and we’d love for you to join us! Here’s how it’ll work: Families who want to cheer on their 5th grader should gather outside the main entrance and line the sidewalk from the gym doors to the front office doors. This will create a fun send-off path for our students as they walk through. A few quick reminders: Be sure to arrive by 2:20 PM with the clap-out at 2:30. If you want to snap a quick photo, that’s totally fine — just keep it moving so we can get students back inside by 2:45 PM. Students will not be allowed to leave early. They’ll head home the same way they normally do. This helps us keep things safe and smooth for everyone and gives teachers a chance to say one last goodbye. Thanks so much for understanding — YES families are the best!
