Attention Parents: Mrs. Terensky, Mrs. Weaver, and Mrs. Watson applied for the Highmark Foundation School Grant Program. Youngsville Elementary School (now known as Youngsville Elementary Middle School) was awarded this grant in the amount of $5,500 to purchase a Wake Rider and Spinatorium (playground equipment) to achieve and maintain a health enhancing level of physical fitness and emotional well-being through movement skills incorporated in a sensory-friendly inclusive playground environment. In addition, it promotes individual, and group interaction related to health, wellness and social/emotional learning. The Wake Rider and Spinatorium complements the new playground purchased by PTO and Youngsville Community this school year.

Whether you're walking to school, packing lunches, or waiting in line, those everyday moments are the perfect time to sneak in a little math. It doesn’t have to be formal—just noticing, counting, asking questions, and playing simple games makes a big impact over time.
This year, let’s help kids see math not just as something they do at school, but something they use everywhere.
Welcome back—we’re excited for a year full of learning, laughter, and “a-ha!” moments! 💡💛
